The systematic plot to destroy democracy in the U.S. and install a fascist plutocratic regime is all of a piece. Destroy all of the institutions of civil society that can oppose the regime, or make them ineffectual, picking them off one at a time: universities, non-profit civil society organizations, law firms, opposition political organizations, journalists. Use the police power to intimidate and terrorize. Fill the public discourse with lies, now that you have neutralized every person or institution that can call them out.
That is what is happening. We can decry one outrage at a time, or we can face up to the unitary reality. It's 1933. Which side are you on?

I edit articles for a financial company. I had to read yet another piece mentioning Shitler today, with a photo of his insane, ugly fucking face. I'd like to pummel it), and I have no doubt millions would like to join in. Here's a comment I left for the author:

I (and many Americans) am so fucking tired of reading about this piece of shit. He is literally insane, a rapist, a Russian asset, a felon and a racist who is under Putin's control. He is severely mentally ill, with profound narcissism. He also wears diapers and shits his pants constantly from years of cocaine and Adderall abuse. He is at war with reality, with the entire world. He is an agent of ignorance and chaos. These are the facts. I and many people can't stand the sight of his ugly face, the disgusting and entitled sound of his voice, and we can't *wait* till he either dies by whatever means, or is forever banished for his treachery.
He lives in an entirely unreal reality, constructed in his mind, but the world chooses to dance to the tune of an excrescent fiddler.

I can't wait for the day when I no longer have to ever see this man's crazy face or hear his ugly voice. If our country can't face its past, it will never be free of charlatans like Donald "Shitler." That's who he is. But our country will go to any lengths, as we've proven by electing this monster, to deny our past and its long shadow on the country we've become. Republicans are interested in three things: racism, greed and destruction. And while Democrats are nowhere near as reckless, they are feckless. It is a terrible mess."
PS: as one of the connected posts mentions, Shitler himself is a crazy, ignorant, lazy and mentally ill man. The question is, who is behind this attempted tyrannical takeover? How large is the cabal? Who is in it? We need two things right now in order to fight this attempted takeover: we need organization and leaders, and we need to know exactly whom we are fighting.

I agree with you that somewhere there has to be a "Protocol of the Elders of Project 2025" that outlines the specific steps to be taken, and their timing.
We know that he has:
- A flock (or "murder"?) of toadies who will do whatever he tells them, period.
- An army of pardoned criminals that he coddles and is the audience that he performs for as if he were a WWE champion.
- A political party of gutless cowards who will vote for whatever he tells them to, even if leads eventually to political suicide.
- A horde of MAGA diehards, who are plenty intelligent but still under the control of their lizard brains. (That's the only explanation I can think of.)
Like most totalitarian power grabs it depends on the support of the scummiest and least reflective tranches of society.
