Regrettable News
Sadly, I events have motivated me to re-launch the blog formerly known as Today in Iraq, Iraq today, Today in Iraq and Afghanistan, and Today in Afghanistan. I have also retitled it, Today in the Endless War. I will make appropriate changes to the sidebars in due course. I am profoundly sorry, and angry, that this occasion has arisen.

Not sure why my earlier comment didn't make it onto the blog ...
It started with the fraud Gingrich's "contract on America," followed by a judicial right-wing fiat that installed "president" Cheney in the White House over the actual winner, Al Gore, who was denied the recount in FL that would have elected him and begun us on the road to beating climate change ... and then the carcass of the Republican party became a personality cult following a madman, a psychotic rapist/racist.
Voting Republican can no longer be excused. Understood, but not excused. Don't vote for people that want to kill all of us!
