A search warrant is a document issued and signed by a judge, as required by the Fourth Amendment, that authorizes law enforcement officials to enter a premises and look for specific items or categories of items. The judge must rule that there is probable cause to believe that the specified items constitute evidence relevant to a criminal investigation. Typically investigators, in this case FBI agents, present the probable cause to the judge and request the warrant. The current director of the FBI was appointed to the position by Donald J. Trump. The judge is not a member of the executive branch and is entirely independent of the Department of Justice and the president.
It is already known to the general public that when he left the White House, Mr. Trump took with him at least 15 boxes of records, including classified documents, which by law he was not permitted to take. In that respect he is already already known to have violated the law, which is a matter of public record. It appears he did not return all of the items. The FBI would not have obtained the search warrant, and the judge would not have issued it, if they didn't have a pretty good idea of what might be there, and considered it important. If it turns out they were mistaken, no harm.
And yes, if they can do this to a former president, they can do it to you -- if you hide evidence of a crime. That's called law enforcement. Law and order. The rule of law. Either you're for it or against it.

There is a parallel between our Bible studies of late and the events surrounding the cult worship of the most repulsive, vile human being in the United States of America, Donald J Shitler.
Time and again, the Israelites worshiped idols of gold and false gods. Over and over, they would be swayed to engage in worship of the gold & worthless idols, as these wayward folks succumbed to their most base instincts as animals.
This is exactly what is occurring with people in the United States who worship a vile, disgusting, criminal, repulsive, repugnant, abhorrent man. It seems human nature has indeed not changed in our history. It's worth asking ourselves, why would people fall prey to the most rapacious, deceitful and murderous among us? It must have something to do with the desire to be debased, to deny our highest aspects, like a man who weighs 300 pounds and goes into a violent frenzy of eating until he weighs 600.
It seems we either have to get busy living or get busy dying, and probably four-tenths of the people in our country have decided they want to choose death over life, and throw themselves into the maelstrom of depravity surrounding the most malignant person in our country.
This is what the Israelites kept doing, over and over. In line with the definition of insanity -- meaning that one engages in the same behavior repeatedly, expecting different consequences. It is the same dynamic.
We have a very strange system of leadership indeed when there are no requirements to become the President of the United States except that you're 35 years of age minimum and were born in this country. It takes a lot more than that to get hired at McDonald's.
I just can't imagine voting for a man who is a rapist, racist, criminal, liar, cheat, and nothing but a vulgar, distorted, overgrown child who never learned to accept responsibility for a single act in his life. And yet I know people, with whom I have ended my friendships, who would support him if he boiled his own children in hot oil and ate them. My ex-friends would probably remark, "Get off the man's case! He was hungry!"
This is the most extreme example of addiction I can imagine: giving all of the power and meaning for your life to a worthless, revolting, disgusting son of a bitch.
