Atrios explains why the Resident's Social Security "reform" plan would:

1. Not only do nothing to fix the supposed fiscal 'crisis' in the system but actually make it worse;
   
2. Result in people receiving far less in total benefits than they would even if nothing were done now to raise revenue or delay retirement, etc.
   
3. Be even worse for people who are young today, including newborns, than for older workers
   

However, the corporate media will not report this, because it is the truth. What they report are the facts. The facts are what the Resident and unnamed administration officials speaking on background say. The truth has a liberal bias, and therefore is inappropriate to report.
