We have got to stop appointing malignant clowns to the federal bench. Or rather, we have stopped now that the presidency is no longer occupied by a malignant clown, but we're stuck for now with a very bad situation. Insane bigot Judge Reed O'Connor has ruled that a provision of the ACA requiring insurers to cover pre-exposure prophylaxis for HIV is unconstitutional because, get this, it violates the religious rights of people who want homosexual, intravenous drug users, and people who engage in extramarital sex to die:

The plaintiffs further argued that some of the recommendations—to cover contraceptives and PrEP—also violate RFRA. They objected to PrEP, for instance, because it “facilitate[s] and encourage[s] homosexual behavior, prostitution, sexual promiscuity, and intravenous drug use.”

Very Christian of them. And:

Some of the plaintiffs also objected to the coverage of testing and behavioral counseling for STDs and the HPV vaccine. Per the plaintiffs, the coverage of these services “encourages and facilitates homosexual behavior, drug use, or sexual activity outside of marriage between one man and one woman.” Note, however, that the non-PrEP claims were dropped in the amended complaint, leaving only the plaintiffs’ RFRA challenge to the coverage of PrEP.

Even more Christian. I've said this before but in case you don't know, I went to church, and Sunday school, until I was 13, and I was studying for confirmation. My mother was a Sunday school teacher and my uncle was an Episcopalian minister. Our best family friend was the church organist and I sang in the choir. This is the precise, polar opposite of Christianity.
